Studio 308 started as a home for American Theatre Company. ATC moved into Studio 308 in 2012 and benefited from the philanthropy of Bill and Paddy until moving to their new home in 2024. Bill and Paddy Harwell purchased the building in 2012 with the intention of providing a home for ATC. What used to be a greasy machine shop in a struggling area of downtown Tulsa has turned out to be a hip venue for not only ATC but for other artist groups as well. All in the burgeoning East Village of downtown Tulsa.
The Harwell’s continue to strive to make Studio 308 affordable for artist groups to have a venue to showcase their arts and their talents. In addition, Bill and Paddy work with numerous non profit organizations by discounting or donating the venue to help them raise money for their worthy causes.
